Breakfast with God 20250207

Post by Roby.evans »

Good Morning Friends,

Today’s message is, “A lack of trust is a lack of faith”. Do you believe 100% with your life on the line what is written in the Bible? Or do you only believe parts? Specifically, these two verses this morning: And we know that God causes all thing to work together to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose Romans 8:28 NASB, and All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction and for training in righteousness 2 Timothy 3-16.

It has been said that doubt and worry go hand in hand, and it is only Satan that tries to divide us from God with these two thoughts. Many times, young and for that matter old Christians suffer what is known as Buyer's Remorse with their faith/trust, when times are going bad or going great in their lives, they can doubt whether or not God is really God or if they are worthy of His Grace, this is Satan attacking you. Even John the Baptist had doubts when he sent messengers to ask Jesus if He was the One, The Messiah or was he to look for someone else Matthew 11, and Jesus was his cousin as well.

I say that obedience and faith go hand in hand; you can’t have one without the other. A true test is your ability to believe in the dark what you believe in the light, in the good times and in the bad. There are three things we must see here.

1. We only learn to trust God by trusting God and the only way to trust God is to trust God.
2. Most of us will never trust fully trust God until we have to.
3. God is going to see to it that we have to.

Times are coming fast upon us where our faith is going to be tested, are you prepared to defend your faith and trust in the Lord? Would you be willing to be stoned like Stephen for your faith, or tossed into a fiery furnace like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the book of Daniel? If you do not have a rock-solid faith in the Lord perhaps it is time to reach out to the Lord in prayer, seek out a Pastor or Teacher for help and revalidate your beliefs and please search the Scriptures for strength and guidance, He is there for you.

Father, thank you for your Word that is so readily available to us today in so many formats and languages, may we use these many different applications to delve deeper into an understanding of You and use your Word as a roadmap for our lives, may we keep your Word a source of strength in the times we face ahead, may we know that we know that You oh Lord are the GREAT I AM, the beginning and the end and that all thing work for your glory and that we recognize it and accept it good or bad. Father, I ask today that my friends will be strengthened by your Word and will stand strong in their faith at all times. I ask these in Jesus Christ Most Holy Name. AMEN
In His Service,
Philippians 4:13

Another inspiring post Roby.

On worrying. Worrying is paying a debt that you don’t even owe yet. I don’t subscribe.
