I do it several ways. If it’s dirty, outdoor range brass, I use a FART with some Dawn and pins (I hate pins) but my preference with cleaner brass - remove the primers and use the Hornady Sub Sonic my wife got me, dry it in her dryer and when dry put it in corn media with Fitz. The Fitz leaves enough film on the brass to keep it clean longer.

That all said, I get the best looking brass after wet wash with pins, but I really hate pins.

Most of my brass is mine and or only shot once, so most often they are very easy to clean. I don't need them to look like they came out of the USMC but they do need to be clean
