I am not who I once was, thank God.

As I reading in the book Chaplains in Grey this morning, the following leapt of the pages to draw my attention.

“Be thou faithful in the ministry of the word—preach the truth always, and indorse it with your life, and God will not let you labor in vain;”

This struck an amazingly deep chord within me regarding my testimony and what others may have seen in me, including those closest to me. He is guiding my footsteps, and my labor has just begun in the service to the Lord.
