12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Roby, explain this one to me. I read it a few times and I come up with God you and you have a choice whether to believe in him or not. Is that right?

Eric, 100% truth, it refers to free will, God will not demand your belief in Him or Jesus as Savior. You have that choice to accept Him or deny Him but eventually ALL will kneel before Him and acknowledge He is Lord of ALL and King of Kings. These verses also emphasize the Grace given by God to all who accept the gift of Salvation. Remember it is not of anything we do but what He did for us, it is Gods will that none shall perish and spend eternity apart from Him. Once the Gospel is revealed and heard a choice is made, acceptance or denial, and the greatest sin is the sin of unbelief.
