Good Morning Friends,

As I was studying and praying in Hebrews 3: 12-13 “Take care brethren, that there not be in any one of you an evil unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God, but encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called today, so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin”., NASB.

The Danger of Disbelief, As I look across our nation I see so much blatant hardening of the heart, so much that hurts me and if it hurts me, I could not imagine the pain it inflicts on Jesus after the countless times the Lord has warned of the danger of hardening you heart towards Him. How many are blaming God for their troubles, how many are jealous of the blessing “others receive” and not them because they do not recognize the blessings in their own lives, are they hatefully grumble instead of humbly grateful.

Does your heart hurt from the pain you see caused by Satan? Or has your heart hardened causing you to become ambivalent, jaded, calloused, and detached from the blatant Sin in front of your eyes? Do you turn a blind eye, Jesus did not…are we afraid, Jesus was not, do we trust Jesus, if so, then why are we afraid to stand up and shout Jesus from the rooftops or reach out to those whose heart is hard? Are we in a battle? You’re darn tootin’ we are, and Satan is polluting the minds of many by the hardening of the hearts towards God through every means possible. Just look at the Pastors, church leader, and staffs who are in the media today due to being weak to Satan and the media who pounce on these and use as illustrations of hypocrisy within the Church. The actions have wide- and far-reaching primary, secondary and tertiary effects on everyone, especially those on the fence for Jesus. We must stand our ground, put on the full armor of God (see Ephesians 6) and show the World who God is through our daily walk and empower/validate or brothers and sisters in their walk and if they stumble, we “as the body of Christ” help them and not ignore them. Do you think Jesus told the Parable of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10 just to hear Himself talk…. I don’t think so!

Father, I thank you for your Word and as unworthy as I am I ask for a softening of the hearts of my friends and family so that they may feel, see, and welcome You into their hearts forever and ever, trusting you O' Lord and for those of us who have you in our hearts Lord I ask for a strengthening and energizing power be let loose for your glory. Even though you don’t require us we ask that you use us as vessels and Soldiers in the Army of the Lord, fully equipped to do battle in our name, unafraid and with the boldness of Joshua who marched on Jericho may we also march at our own Jericho daily. Father, I humbly ask this in Jesus most holy name. AMEN
