THE PLAN OF THE DAY

Alrighty then! I am awake now and getting my day started with my cigar. I did wake up briefly this morning between 0900 and 0930 but it just wasn't in the cards to have an early day. This is pretty normal for me though, Blah Blah Blah.... I'll spare you all that junk. Know your audience, right.
I am already focusing in on making myself get my living spaces cleaned up. I have a terrible lazy streak when it comes to chores at home. But today is the day! I gotta make myself get this place cleaned up and today is the day. As I sit here thinking about my lazy cleaning habits, it occurs to me that I am also lazy concerning many other things all that would be considered self-care. A clean and tidy home contributes to a better frame of mind and promotes a more positive attitude. Why am I so lazy only in my own surroundings? I don't feel like I am the same way concerning the outside world. I dont know exactly where this comes from but it is not something new. When I have responsibilities away from home, I am most often motivated and have zero tolerance for mediocrity or delays of schedule. Then why the acceptable neglect of things that would surely only enhance my ability to perform at a high level in other areas. Interesting to ponder on if nothing else. I think I will probably be revisiting this topic in future musings.
For today though, making my home all tidied up will be a step in the right direction for sure. Right after I get some grub in me and chuckle at some looney tunes. I'll be lurking around in here through the day I'm sure.
Grateful and honored.
