Magnetic Compass

A well made magnetic compass is a must, and practice, practice, practice is paramount to this skill. Butter bar LT’s need not be given these.

Ha. As a former Forward Observer turned targeting warrant, it always amazed me, and still does, the amount of people who can't read even a basic street map.

Even less today, I bet most 20-30s could not read a road map.
