Dispenser accuracy

I use a Hornady mechanical powder dropper, but also validate on scale each drop because I’m wired that way. I like precise loads, to the grain. Does anyone else trust their dropper or expensive electronic disperser and only validate every 5 or 10 loads?

When I'm loading pistol I just drop the powder. I know my combination drops my pistol powder within a .1-.2 of a grain. Rifle loads other than bulk 223 I weigh every load.

Roger, I load mainly for lever actions and revolvers and no black guns in the house.

For pistol or revolver, l check every 16th charge.
For rifle l auto-dispense into scale cup, then trickle in last 0.2 gr, but l like them EXACTLY the same. Always.

For pistol I just drop and spot check occasionally. Except for Contender. I measure each one tight. For rifle I use my RCBS auto dispenser and do spot checks.
