Good Moring Friends.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 NKJV. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Just let these two simple verses sink in a minute. Do you believe these words or are they just that, words? Now just imagine how OUR lives would be changed if WE applied God principles and precepts in every aspect of OUR lives by utilizing His Word as our guiding light, our measuring rod, and our standard for living. Changing the world can only begin in one place and one person at a time and it is within our hearts, once we accept Gods Word as HOLY and begin to live our lives for Him and not for us a wholesale change will begin and a small spark can ignite a raging inferno across the countryside. Revival, another Great Awakening, call it what you will but the signs are pointing, and an ill wind is blowing across our country with Satan fanning the flames amongst our youth. The Scriptures are being discounted as archaic, unaccepting, and even disputing the reality of Sin and the resulting terminality of failure to recognize Jesus as the one and only way to Heaven. Put down your phone, turn off the TV, close your mouth and open your heart and mind by going back to the basics of Christianity and the simple Truths the He through the Holy Spirt gave to us, HIS WORD. If we spent as much time in HisBook as we do on FaceBook what a change in our hearts and minds it would make. Just like Mikeys friends told him in an old commercial add from my younger days, "try it you'll like it".
Father, I ask that you guide our hearts back to you by using the Scripture placed before us in 2 Timothy and that we too can come to the realization that Your Word is Holy and that we can be fully equipped to do every good work in Your Most Holy Name. Amen
