Good morning,

Today my thoughts are very passionate and sometimes personally challenging both inwardly and outwardly as I deal with not only my own spiritual transformation but the transformation of others.

It was March 19th 2017 that I was released from cardiac ICU in Vicksburg, MS after having a “Widow Maker” heart attack and the changes that this event brought about in my life. An old friend whom I love and respect dealt sent a note to me saying, “Roby, either the Lord ain’t done with you down here or He don’t want to deal with you up there”. His words struck a deep chord within me that day and made me look deeply into my life.

As given via Google Gemini, “The word "transformed" often comes from the Greek word metamorphoo(metamorphosis), implying a change in nature, or metaschematizo, implying a change in appearance”.

There is an old saying, a leopard can’t change its spots but what about Christians, a hard fact that even the Apostle Paul faced, acceptance by others after his conversion. Do we treat new converts, especially those who came down a troubled path, (prison, drugs, blasphemers, etc.), with the same respect and love as those who go down a gentle path (much like many of us). There are many verses I urge you to read and specifically:
Romans 12:2;
1 Corinthians 15:51-55;
2 Corinthians 3:18;
Philippians 3:20-21.

It is equally important that we are just as Peter, James and John, witnesses to the miracle of transformation in the lives of others, and testify regarding what we have seen.

My prayer this morning is that we would all show love to each other just as Jesus has shown unconditional love to us and commanded us the love our brother as ourselves.
