Breakfast with God, 20260425

Good morning friends.
“IF”, is one of the biggest little words in the Bible. The word IF is important because of how much power it has. It speaks of Gods promise’s and also our responsibilities. It is a conditional word, and it determines the outcome of our actions or lack thereof.
I have spent a tremendous amount of time circling each and every “IF” in my bible, from Genesis to Revelations and have been praying specifically over the instances in the New Testament Gospels and thrown in Acts and Romans for good measure. In the first six books of the New Testament, I have found that in Matthew 69, Mark 34, Luke 49, John 81, Acts 26, and Romans 50 the word “IF” is used 309 times, almost half of what Is used in the entire New Testament combined. There are over 1445 instances of the word “IF” in my translation (NKJV), more and less depending on yours. The word “IF” is sometimes substituted with, “Whether, Through, and Would That”.
Jesus when using the word “IF” always put the “IF” as man's responsibility, not on Gods responsibility. For instance, “If anyone has ears, let them hear”, - Mark 4:23 and Rev: 13-19. “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; IF anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and him with Me”, Rev: 3-20. The list and examples can go on and on, and these are but a few examples of His emphasis on the word “IF”.
Father, my prayer this morning is for all members of the VRAP community and that they will come to know You as their Lord and Savior. Please protect and comfort those whose hearts are heavy and burdens need lifting, those whose minds are damaged by rigors of war and being the angels of mercy as First Responders and the trials that they incur from their chosen profession be it nursing, firefighters, law enforcement, etc. May Your hands comfort them and sooth the hurts they experience and hide from everyone as they stand in the gap for those in need. Father, we love and trust you and eagerly await Your return, may we all be found doing Your Work when You call us home to You. In Jesus most Holy Name I ask. AMEN
