Quantum mutatus ab illo - READ THIS!!!

I came across this Latin phrase that describes the work of Christ in my life: Quantum mutatus ab illo (how changed from what he once was), and the greatest part of that is He will do the same for all who accept Him as their Lord and Savior. all you have to do is follow the ABC's of Salvation: 1. Admit that you're a sinner. 2. Believe that Jesus is God's Son. 3. Confess your sins and ask Jesus into your heart. So simple a task, just have the faith of a child. The Lord "Will" act in your life and you "Will" be born again completly forgiven of "All" your sins.

--We are all sinners. Romans 3:23 says "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God."

--The results of our sin is hell. Romans 6:23 says "For the wages of sin is death."

--So God, because of His love for us, sent Jesus to die on the cross to pay the penalty of our sins. Romans 5:8 says "But God commanded His love towards us, in while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

--To receive Jesus' sacrifice for our sins we must not only believe in God, but ask Him to save us from our sins (that makes Him SAVIOR) and then rule and reign in and over our lives (that makes Him LORD). Romans 10:9-10 says: "That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved."

--God's gift to us is saving us if we ask Him to. Romans 6:23 says "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

--When should I be saved? NOW! Right now! You never know when you might die or be killed. And after that, it's too late to be saved, and you will go to hell forever and ever. Hebrews 3:7 says "Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts." Also, II Corinthians 6:3 says "Behold, now IS the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation."

--Is there anyone else or any other way to be saved? NO. Since God created us, it stands to reason that only God can save us from our sins. And God has chosen Jesus as the way to do this. Acts 4:12 says "Nor is there salvation found in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

--Jesus said "Behold I stand at the door (your heart) and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me." Revelation 3:20. In other words, Jesus WILL save you if you let Him into your heart and life.

Will you ask Jesus into your heart today? Just pray this prayer (and truly mean it), and you will be saved:

Dear God: I realize that I'm a sinner and I can't save myself. I believe you sent your Son Jesus to die on the cross to take the penalty of my sins. I ask Jesus now to come into my life and save my soul, and guide and direct my life from this point on as my Lord. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
