Scatter Gun

What’s your favorite shotgun for hunting? Mine is a Ruger Red Label 20ga with an English stock.

Well, to narrow down to a favorite would be hard. I have probably around 35-40 scatter guns…everything from an 8 gauge punt gun down to a 32 gauge and 410. Lots of odd ones in between. The one I have hunted with the most is my grandfathers Sears “Ted Williams” Model 200 in 12 Gauge. Adjustable choke. I inherited that one when he passed right after Desert Storm. Killed many a bird with it. Tons of dove, duck, even some geese.

Nice legacy, I have my dad’s Beretta Silver Snipe (1960) that I got when he passed. My son has pretty much taken it over.

I also have my great grandfathers and my great great grandfathers BP shotguns.

Have my dads Springfield 12 ga.
HAD a Silver Snipe. Sold it to pay bills.
WORST MISTAKE EVER!!!

Also have a Winchester 1887, made May 2, 1888...
