Breakfast with God 20250805

Post by Roby.evans »

Good Morning Friends,

“ING” is as important part of our daily biblical walk with God, but you may ask Roby what are you talking about this morning? Let me explain.

As a Christian are you and I living a “ING” life? By this I mean are you and I “Christian-ing”. Throughout the bible we are told many things (you know commands) to do, and these are not things in the past, they are things in the present. So, you ask yourself, How? If you look deep enough the Bible will interpret itself to you or give instructions of commands by using the three little letters “-ING”.

Some examples of Christian-ing; Loving, living, giving, caring, praying, repenting, serving, worshiping, trusting, singing, praising, honoring, feeding, teaching, allowing, admonishing, greeting, denying, helping, following, tithing, sharing, clothing, washing, baptizing, fulfilling, making, observing, obeying, and going. I am sure the list can go on and on, but you get the gist of my meaning here.

Conversely, Satan has his “ING’s” as well; shouting, doubting, pouting, running, hiding, sinning, coveting, denying, blaspheming, ect.

So today I ask which of the “ING” worlds are you living in? Are you Christian-ing, or Satan-ing to the world? When someone see’s you, hears you, observes you, are they seeing you Chrisian-ing? Or are they seeing the opposite? When some speaks to another about you, how are you refereed to, is it as a Christian Soldier in the Army of the Lord? Are you a by-stander, someone who setting in the bleachers, an arm-chair Monday morning quarterback, Are you letting your Pastor win souls for the Lord “because that’s his job” or are you in the trenches “ING-ing”?

Father, I thank you for being the most important part of my life, and for you Word to dwell within me through the Holy Spirit. I ask that not only I but all of my friends and family will embrace the “ING” mantra and live a life worthy of you, and we can all develop a deeper Christian-ing life each and every day through You Holy Power. Father, we know that all things are possible through Your Word and that You desire that none shall be lost, I ask that we be lights leading to You. Lead us and teach us each and every day. In Jesus Christ Most Holy Name. AMEN.
In His Service,
Philippians 4:13
