Breakfast with God 20260306

Post by Roby.evans »

Good morning friends,

How many "Christians" are out there that can and will chase you all over the office, store, parking lot, job site, even church jabbering to you about a fishing/hunting/sporting event in such detail with such passion recanting every minute detail, but if you ask them to mention the Gospel to someone they say that they are afraid to witness, they are afraid...... It amazes and disgusts me at the same time, are you passionate about your Savior or ashamed of Him? We are called to place God FIRST in our lives and spread His Word to the world. You want to know what a person puts first in his life then listen to his speech, it will be obvious to all. I know a lot of these so-called Christians who you could not get to witness if their life depended on it, well it does and so does the life of others.
If we ALL would spend more time in conversation with the Lord, we would find that our conversations with the world would be more focused on Him than on them.
In His Service,
Philippians 4:13

Thanks Roby. I used to be the "chit chat about hunting" type. Then we moved and thought l would try to be better witness for people that didnt know me. After 3 years, people knew where l stood, and actually avoided talking to me. I still welcomed the 2 LDS missionaries and have theologic discussions with them. Then we moved 600 miles away. Other than infrequent calls from family, only 1 person checks in quarterly. Crickets otherwise. From what step-dad says, people are glad to have me gone, because l made them feel uncomfortable, debating theology.
