Where does everyone hang out?
Where does everyone hang out?
Maybe I’m doing something wrong but it seems like to me that everything kind of evaporated both here and on messenger? What am I doing wrong?
Re: Where does everyone hang out?
It did. Hunting season came along. Elections. Comes and goes in waves of activity...

Agree 100% with this. I was on leave for a couple of weeks with no internet or cell coverage, we try to disconnect from society at least once a year to reset. Hope all are well tonight.

All is well Roby. Have missed your musings though.
VRAP attendance comes and goes. Winter time there will be more activity, as alot of guys (and gals) are inside more.
Happens every year. The addition of the website sorta splits things up and has not caught on yet. I am not adding anyone else to the Messenger group, unless mentally unstable and in need of 24/7 monitoring in case they need to talk. VRAP has saved (4) lives I know of. They are all still in the group. You never know the impact of having a listening ear available. I am around most of the time and only sleep 3 hours a night. Then about every 6 weeks, I sleep 50-60 hours on a weekend, then 3 hours a night...rinse and repeat. I am adding to the website daily and if anyone that is out there and wondering if they can make more of an impact or help out in some way, PLEASE let me know. There are alot of areas that I need help in, and I cannot run it all on my own anymore. VRAP has grown to be bigger than I can take care of. Facebook group, 23 Messenger groups, MeWe, Signal, Telegram, 25 guys in text group that do not do anything online, Band, Instagram and Zoom. The website encompasses all the previous groups. I have tables at gun shows to put the word out. Building a power point presentation to put on laptops at gun shows to get word out, having 3D printed objects to show off, and then loaning 3D printers out and providing filament to produce reloading equipment...Lots of stuff to do. I am trying to make it bigger, but hard. I use separate banks for personal and non-profit, and average bank account for VRAP has about $100-200 in it at any given time. Yes, there are donations that come in, but I spend money to offset the equipment shortages. Occasionally I purchase equipment and have it sent to members that are having a hard time finding the equipment elsewhere used. Always looking for help.
Stay safe as winter coming in strong, and know there are people out there that care for you, willing to listen.
Thank you for your service.

Re: Where does everyone hang out?
Josh,
I am so happy to be a part of this group of folks, a blessing to me to see how everyone is supportive and giving to each other regardless of their situation or status, giving from the heart and listening to each other hurts or fears, knowing that there is someone willing to listen or act if need be, or to intervene if required to save a life. Remining all, you are not alone, we are all in this together. May the Lord strengthen each and every one who is in this group, take the time to find a quiet place and open your heart and ears to His still small voice that will speak to you.
