360 Buckhammer

Post by Roby.evans »

Good morning, considering picking up one of the 360 Buckhammers, straight wall is not required here in Kentucky but might prove useful as well. Has anyone had experience with one? Pros/Cons, are these gonna go the same route as the 338 Marlin, 308 Marlin Express? Obsolete in a couple of years?

Love my lever actions in 22LR, .410, 38/357, 44 REM, 45LC, 30-30, 35 REM, and 45-70.

Hadnt heard of it. Good possibility of it going extinct.

It is basically a 35REM only in a straight wall cartridge marketed for those states that restrict the cartridge usage (Iowa, Ohio, Michigan, and Illinois). It uses the exact same bullet I load in my 35REM .358 200 gr round nose interlock by Hornady #3515.

Just process your deer partially and shoot with a 45-70. :D
