Great question....and here is the full story.

My name is Mark Claessens and I started Big Dog brass back in 2008. I started this company with about $400 worth of inventory in probably 10 different calibers. Today I normally stock about $70,000 worth of brass in almost 350 different calibers. I have a unique niche in the brass selling market with that number of calibers (since most brass dealers stock 10-20 at most), but also in catering to the OCD nature of all my fellow reloaders. In many of these calibers you may have 10-30 different options. In other words, you may not just want 308 Winchester that is all mixed headstamps, nickel, brass, etc. So I you can choose only, let's say Federal....but maybe just true once fired Federal.....but also maybe you only want once fired Federal NICKEL. I do that for you in many calibers.

I've been reloading personally for over 50 years. I don't know everything, but do have deep knowledge, which helps me help you, my fellow reloader. And I only offer the highest quality new or fired brass in the market, and it is also the prettiest brass you will ever see. I have maintained a 100% positive customer satisfaction rating all these years and aim to keep that. The reason I can promise you that is because I never close out an invoice before hearing back from my customer that they received their product and that they are 100% satisfied. If they are not, I fix it. Period.

The way this works with me is simple. The best way to work with me is via email. On an average day I will get 8-15 emails. 5-10 of them are kindly asking me to send them my current updated inventory list of all the calibers. I shoot that back to them....and then they look through the list and send me an email with precisely what they want, and include their address and cell number. I will get right back to them with a quote on all the brass and the shipping for their approval. Then they will normally pay me via PayPal, though a couple of times each year someone will send me a check or money order. Then I pack up their order and get that shipped out right away and provide them with an email confirmation letter along with the tracking number. Very professional around here! And I normally pack and ship every Friday and Sunday. But any rush orders I can take care of if you need that.

I do provide a special service that no other company or brass dealer does anywhere in the country. I have what I call my BOLO (Be On the Look Out) list. This is essentially a "waiting" list or "backorder" list. Let's say you need some 350 Remington Mag brass. And maybe I have 4 in stock. But you need 50. I will put you on the BOLO list for 50, and then tag those other 4 as being SOLD to you. So if anyone looks at the list and scrolls down to the 350 RM....they will see they cannot order those. What I am doing is a huge favor for you. I am holding all of that caliber that comes in just for you, and then letting you have first crack at them. The good news is that you are never under any obligation to purchase them. So let's say I contact you in 4 months and tell you that I now have 47 of these that are ready to ship. And you tell me that you no longer need them because you just got lucky and found a bunch at a gun show. No problem!! I will gladly just remove you from the list and let the next guy in line take them. So that is a win/win for both of us, because I can still keep networking that caliber with my bigger suppliers. I very rarely have a customer where I cannot find what they need.

I will mention that at times i will have other items for sale, especially when I do a buyout or a huge auction. I may have dies, presses, shotgun stuff, manuals, etc. But they do go quickly.
