Bad ammo or bad pistol?

Post by JLong »

I finally got to try out my glock 21 today. 23 failure to chamber (all 23 pass size checker), 14 failure to cycle after fire, and 3 good shots... is there some magic to glocks that I need to learn? Never had performance issues like this in my S&W or my 1911.

I’ve had a few issues with my Glock 21 not firing a reloaded round. I bought the 21 used for very little $. Once I got the round to eject I put it in my trusty old Citidel and it fired fine. I’ve messed with different primers, COL’s and finally replaced the firing mechanism which seems to have improved its performance, but still hiccups every now and then. At this point I’m pretty certain It’s the pistol not the bullet but so help me I love that gun

The trick is to trade the Glock off for a S&W. lol

Yeah, there is that but I like tinkering with the Glocks. It’s a derangement syndrome I’ve struggled with for years lol

Jlong, get ahold of Rick Hasting, aka Glock Doc. He is local to you. Rick will fix you up. I will send you his information.

Actually, I already have an S&W M&P 10mm. It’s a very sweet little pistol although I really like both of my FN^s, FNFX 45 and FN10
