Breakfast with God 20250517

Post by Roby.evans »

Good Morning Friends,

This morning, I was gently nudged by the Holy Spirit to arise and give thanks. It was the Holy Spirit within that God provided me another day. I might not make it to the end of the day and that’s O.K. I am assured of my eternal salvation through Jesus Christ. This I know. He lifted me up this morning from a sound sleep. His voice woke me and for that I praise Him. In fact, for every breath I must praise Him. In the mornings I find myself dancing in the dark and rising on the wings of eagles and they dance with the wind. Sometimes we forget the simplest yet most complex of things, giving thanks for every breath He gives.

I Thessalonians 5:18 says, “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” NKJV. Did you notice what is said here, it says in EVERYTHING. That is not selective. Rejoicing involves gladness and gratitude of heart even in the painful times of life, in sunshine and in rain, in times of feast and famine. Ephesians 5:20 tells us to, “giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” David knew how to praise. “I will praise the name of God with a song and will magnify him with thanksgiving.” (Psalm 69:30) NKJV. Have you ever really thought about praise and worship? It isn’t just for the music we listen to, and it isn’t just for Sunday morning in church. It is for everything that happens to you. It is easy to praise Him when the seas of life are calm and our sails are filled with His breath and we are traveling in the right direction towards our destination, but what about when the storms of Satan blows us off course and onto the rocks or sinks our ship on a reef. Are you still giving Him the praise continually, will you be praising in the storm. Friends, I ask you to try this; when your eyes open to greet the day, stretch your arms and reach for God, offer your FIRST thoughts to Him giving prayers of thanks and praise. Wherever you are, raise your hands and offer praise. During road construction delays, ill-timed traffic lights, spilled coffee, ungodly supervisors-co-workers, raise your hands to heaven and thank Him. Praise and worship Him in all things and watch the changes within your life.

Let me ask you again, are you filled with joy this morning? If so, raise your hands and thank the giver of Life for your existence and let Him know that there is nothing that He can’t handle in your life every day. Dance, Sing, Rejoice, and Walk with the Lord. Let your life be an example for others see you and say, “If that is a Christian, I must have it!” Be filled with happiness and joy today and every day, this very moment raise your hands and Waltz with the wind, remain humble and let Him shine through you. Only Jesus offers us hope and by rising of our hearts and minds in praise we show Him how thankful we are. Take your day to the Lord and observe the results during the day. Find His Glory in the darkest of clouds.

Father, I love you and I praise you and I give you thanks in all things. I ask for your Holy Spirit fill my Family, my Friends, and my Enemies and that they fill you and see you for your holiness and experience the Grace that you share to all who believe. Father, I pray that we all will place you first and foremost in our lives and actions and every decision we make will be taken to you in prayer first. Lord use us. In Christ most holy name. AMEN
In His Service,
Philippians 4:13
